How to read provider detection
MX routing can be direct or protected by a gateway.
Provider detection is based on recognizable MX hostnames. Security gateways such as Mimecast or Proofpoint can sit in front of an underlying mailbox platform, so the tool reports the visible inbound MX provider rather than guessing a hidden service.
